First Class Cricket

	Northants v Lancashire (Northampton - 12th July 2011)	Possibly the worst day all round for Northants supporters so far. Firstly the light was dire as you can tell from the photos - I gave up very early on taking photos and instead proped up the bar. Lancs were bowled out for a tiny 110 and Northants fell 3 runs short of the target... and infront of the sky cameras too!!!

	Northants v Yorkshire (Northampton - 1st July 2011)	Game 9 of the T20 group stages and guess what... Northants lost again. But not to worry - I took possibly one of my best "bowled" images as Adam Lyth's stumps fly out of the ground.

	Northants v Warwickshire (Northampton - 15th June 2011)	Northant's awful run in the T20 continues. This was a day night match so not only did I have to contend with the crowd getting in the way, but the sun was dipping at that horrible eyeline level. Oh yeah and Northants lost!

	Northants v Leicestershire (Northampton - 3rd June 2011)	The start of June and SHOCK! Northants are unbeaten in ALL forms of the game. Several friends from Leicester came to support the foxes in hope more than anything. Cue banana skin and Northants cock it up again their rivals from up t' M1. But the very nice cheerleaders made up for it!

	Northants v Essex (Northampton - 20th April 2011)	The great weather continued and better still Northants were looking like a force for 2011. It was also a great chance to catch a sight of the rare, lesser spotted Alastair Cook in an Essex shirt, still basking in the glory from the Ashes win.

	Surrey v Northants (London - 8th April 2011)	For those who remember that far back, it was bloomin' hot in April 2011. So much so that I got quite badly burnt on the first day of the cricket season. The stunning surrounds of the Oval cricket ground was bathed in non-stop sunshine which also made for some very nice crisp images.

	England v Pakistan (London - 20th August 2010)	Just as all of the fixing scandal was kicking off, I was making my first ever trip, not only to the Oval, but to an England test match. If England collapse like they did today, don't think I'll go again! The snooty pro photographers infront of me weren't much help either!

	Derbyshire v Northants (Derby - 21st July 2010)	My first chance of getting Elton Chigumbura on camera. He's a big fella!

	Leicestershire v Lancashire (Northampton - 25th June 2010)	Another bore fest at Leicestershire

	Nottinghamshire v Northants (Northampton - 22nd June 2010)	An absolute thriller - possibly the best T20 game I've ever seen. Northants bat like total idiots, but a superb bowling performance from Vaas and Brooks pulls the team back into the match and eventually salvage a draw.

	Leicestershire v Derbyshire (Northampton - 2nd June 2010)	The first T20 match of the season and it was BORING! Much like the whole T20 compeitition.

	Northants v Middlesex (Northampton - 24th April 2010)	Today was a very sporty day, taking in the cricket before running down to watch Northampton Saints. Indeed it was the first day in living memory that all 3 major sports teams in Northampton were playing at home on the same day.

	Leicestershire v Northants (Northampton - 9th to 11th April 2010)	Start of the season and I was up for some cricket. Indeed I spent an 3 entire days at Grace Road, Leicester enjoy the weather, cricket and Strongbow on offer! This was the first chance to use the new lens and after a bit of trial and error I think we got some decent shots. The majority of these have been used by the Northants and Leicestershire CCC websites.

	Northants v Glamorgan (Northampton - 29th May 2009)	I didn't intend to take photographs at this match. I was too busy enjoying a beer or two with a friend. But with stumps flying everywhere and boundaries galore, I couldn't help but get the camera out.

	Northants v Lancashire (Northampton - 26th April 2009)	These images were taken on behalf of Northants County Cricket Club and after a bit of convincing, the Northampton Chronicle & Echo also published some images.

	England v New Zealand (Lords, London - 28th June 2008)	Only my 2nd ever trip to Lords - It was a perfect day to watch cricket and even better for photography. From my seated position I was at a bad angle for photographs but when I realised I could walk around the boundary, things got a little better!

	Northants v Somerset (Northampton - 22nd June 2008)	All I remember from this game is that it was stinking horrible weather, the German exchange student who was watching her first ever cricket game, and that this was a match up of the two worst dressed clubs in the country!
