Leicester Tigers v Northampton Saints |
Just look at that scoreline! It eventually broke the 50 points mark but I was so snap happy for this match my battery had ran out! OK it was an A league game but I and the 50 or so travelling fans enjoyed the match very much! I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of light at Welford Road which made for slightly sharper images. These were all used on both official websites the following day. | ||

Penrith v Stockport |
Another "away for the weekend - need sport" situation. Whilst visiting the sister ooop north I needed sporting relief. It came on a frozen afternoon in Penrith in a highly charged match against Stockport. Couldn't understand any of the players on the field so I had to guess where the play was going! | ||

Bridport v Bradford on Avon |
You're on holiday with the folks in law, you crave sport! Thankfully Bridport Rugby Club came to my rescue one gorgeous late Summer afternoon. There was excellent ale in the club house, and excellent view from the balcony and a good game of rugby taking place. Loved it so much I even bought a club cap there and then. Oh yes and this was my first EVER attempt at taking images of a rugby match! | ||
