		Syston 3rd XI v Milton Bryan (Leicester - 11th September 2011)		It's President's Day at Syston and Milton Bryan have travelled all the way from deepest darkest Bedfordshire to join us. The star of the show is clearly the 9 year old who isn't there to make up numbers!
		Syston 3rd XI v Barkston (Leicester - 14th August 2011)		I'm starting to get the feeling I should stop taking photographs as Syston Town matches because we keep losing!
		Bitteswell v Syston 2nd XI (Lutterworth - 2nd July 2011)		Syston lose! Simple as. The only other thing to say is that the slope as Bitteswell CC is massive!
		Oakham v Syston 2nd XI (Oakham - 18th June 2011)		A very warm and overcast game but with no scoring or umpiring duties to worry about, I had a good chance to put 214 snaps in the can... I've whittled them down somewhat for you.
		Syston 2nd XI v Billesdon (Leicester - 11th June 2011)		Back down to earth with a, you guessed it, defeat! Again no time for photography - I was padded up after just 14 overs!
		Syston 3rd XI v Melton Town (Leicester - 5th June 2011)		Syston win a game!!! Yours truly had a paddy because he couldn't but a wicket and both Henry Whait and Ben Drake score 50s...
		Welby v Syston 3rd XI (Welby - 22nd May 2011)		Another defeat that had nothing to do with me! Honest guv! But Ben Drake's hook shot (for which I was standing at fine leg) saved the day - photography wise anyway!
		L'boro Carillon v Syston 2nd XI (Loughborough - 21st May 2011)		A gutsy knock from Nev Doughty kept Syston in the game for all of 5 minutes! However there was still the chance of Ivan Spibey jumping 10 feet away from the ball!
		Lutterworth v Syston 2nd XI (Lutterworth - 15th May 2011)		Another defeat for Syston and wickets were tumbling that quickly I didn't have much time to take pictures!
		Kegworth v Syston 1st XI (Leicester - 2nd May 2011)		T20 group stages and a win would secure Kegworth a place at finals day. Syston were seemingly cruising when Pete Howard first ties down the Kegworth batsmen and then takes two crucial wickets (the side on photograph has been submitted to the Wisden cricket photograph of 2011 competition). But Kegworth are seen home by an inspired knock and we all go home depressed!
		Cosby v Syston 2nd XI (Leicester - 30th April 2011)		We'll gloss over this game. Personally it was a good game for me and I got some nice shots of the legendary Roger Cook who must be the slowest bowler on earth!
		Langtons v Syston 1st XI (Market Harborough - 16th April 2011)		Start of the season for Syston Town - a nice friendly against Langtons. The shot of the day is the somewhat planned celebration from Umar Razzaq. I told him where I was standing and to really give his celebration some beans if he took a wicket! And right on cue...
		Syston 3rd XI v Belvoir Colts (Leicester - 22nd August 2010)		Another must win game for Syston who are now withing touching distance of promotion. A young Belvoir side turns up and despite their best efforts, Syston ran out comfortable winners.
		Kirby Muxloe v Syston 2nd XI (Leicester - 21st August 2010)		My first visit back to Kirby since the "lamp" incident. Needless to say it was brought up very quickly! Thankfully a solid Syston performance especially from stand in skipper and the young boys meant that I had the last laugh.
		Tilton & Lowesby v Syston 3rd XI (Tilton - 2nd August 2010)		Tilton's cricket ground is in a superb location as the photos will show. They aren't a bad side either, with Syston's record against them currently, played 3, LOST 3!!!
		Syston 1st XI v Barrow Town (Leicester - 1st August 2010)		Barrow came to the Potters Lane looking for revenge after being demolished at home earlier in the season. And despite the best, if somewhat unorthodox methods of batting from Saqlain Mushtaq, Barrow got what they deserved!
		Syston 2nd XI v Sileby Town 2nd XI (Leicester - 10th July 2010)		Local rivals Sileby. This game will probably be remembered as the one where a certain player didn't arrive until 2 hours after the game had started. I think I got one or two of his "played and misses"!
		Belvoir Colts v Syston 3rd XI (Melton - 13th June 2010)		Belvoir CC has the most glrious backdrop of Belvoir Castle in the background. However it's on a hill and is very difficult to frame in with the cricket - I gave it a go though!
		Ashby Hastings v Syston 1st XI (Ashby de la Zouch - 22nd May 2010)		Whilst the World's eyes were on Wembley seeing if a Welsh team or a team with a stadium of just 3 stands would make the Premiership, I was in glorious Ashby getting hot just walking around the boundary!
		Barrow Town v Syston 1st XI (Loughborough - 15th May 2010)		Another Saturday spare so I head up the to Barrow upon Soar to watch the 1st XI's innings. These images have been used in both the Leicester Mercury and Loughborough Echo.
		Syston 2nd XI v Mountsorrel (Leicester - 9th May 2010)		My first game of the season actually playing at Syston. It was a nice change - shame that some of the batsmen were hell bent on spending time at the crease instead of scoring runs!
		Syston 2nd XI v Cosby (Leicester - 1st May 2010)		On the way back from Loughborough (see below) I headed to Syston and thought it a shame NOT to photograph the 2nd XI. Nothing special here but there are some nice shots of the team "together".
		Loughborough v Syston 1st XI (Loughborough - 1st May 2010)		My first chance of photographing mr Mushtaq. I was too busy playing with the settings on the camera that by the time he had come on to bowl I didn't know what worked and what didn't! Not my best work but these were greatfully recieved by both the Leicester Merc and the Loughborough Echo.
		Stoughton & Thurnby v Syston Sun XI (Leicester - 18th April 2010)		Syston chose to bat first in this match giving me an opportunity to photograph in some better light, hopefully these look far better than the ones from the previous week!
		Queniborough v Syston Sun XI (Leicester - 18th April 2010)		First game of the season (playing) and the sun shone... whilst we were fielding. As soon as the Syston batsmen walked to the crease and I had taken the lens cap off the clouds gathered. Still, we made the best of a bad situation and played about with the settings on the camera - some worked, some didn't...
